Это лето в Югре оказалось самым сухим за последние десять лет. Сухая погода вкупе с высокой температурой стала одной из причин масштабных лесных пожаров в ХМАО. Повлиял на их распространение и сильный ветер, который разносил небольшие возгорания. Об этом сообщила начальник Ханты-Мансийского центра по гидрометеорологии и мониторингу окружающей среды Ольга Волковская на заседании штаба, посвященного предупреждению и ликвидации лесных пожаров.

«С первой декады июля в Югре установилась сухая погода с высокими температурами, такая ситуация не характерна для округа с его резко континентальным климатом. Подобного состояния атмосферы не наблюдалось с 2012 года. Ситуация регулярно отслеживалась синоптиками, но периодическое усиление ветра поспособствовало росту площади возгорания. С 11 августа погода в Югре принесла долгожданные осадки», – отметила специалисты.

Площадь лесных пожаров продолжает увеличиваться в ХМАО. По данным на утро сегодняшнего дня, в регионе действовало 54 пожара на площади 135,6 тыс. гектаров (сутками ранее было 123,6 тыс. гектаров).
