От голосования в нижней палате парламента воздержалась фракция «Новые люди», отмечает РБК. «Размытые понятия в законопроекте и их трактовки могут вызвать злоупотребления, отъем собственности, сведение счетов. В Уголовном кодексе уже есть все необходимые меры ответственности», — объяснили решение в пресс-службе партии.

Один из авторов инициативы, спикер Госдумы Вячеслав Володин, написал у себя в телеграм-канале: «Принятое решение позволит наказывать тех, кто ведет деятельность против своей страны». Кроме него, авторами проекта стали еще 394 депутата, пишет Forbes.
