Но не пойти ли нам более перспективным путем: вместо «Авроры» и соседнего «туалета» построить новую доминанту в этой части проспекта Ленина, который (проспект Ленина) с архитектурной точки зрения здесь совсем какой-то невзрачный?

Новым интеллигентным, не циклонических размеров объектом может быть любое городское заведение, которого не хватает современному Сургуту: планетарий, театр, музей… Или Городской культурный центр? Или «Петрушка»?

Объявить конкурс проектов, пригласить международных зодчих и забабахать красоту, которой город еще не видывал? А вокруг разбить (развить) сквер, святое дело.

Вот бы было дело!

Именно. «Объявите конкурс проектов». «Пригласите международных зодчих, чтобы забабахать красоту, которой город ещё не видывал?».
А дальше в порядке поступления задач. Место для такой красоты кинотеатр «Аврора» сохранила. «Что тебе снится, крейсер «Аврора»? ГКЦ? Планетарий? Большой сургутский Драматический Театр? Музей? Все это, кроме сквера, я думаю, «снится «Авроре» в этот утренней час накануне сноса. И не только «Авроре» снится. Выбор большой. Нужно только сделать первый шаг и выйти из того городского замкнутого круга: «Снос-Сквер».
